PET Technologies recently participated in the highly-regarded RigaFood 2023 exhibition, held from September 7th to 9th in the capital of Latvia. What truly made PET Technologies stand out was the warm reception from prominent guests in both the business and political spheres of Latvia, who were eager to connect with us and pleasantly surprised by our company’s products.
Our company proudly participated in the collective stand from Ukraine, together with other 40 companies. While the exhibition primarily catered to food and small craft producers, PET Technologies got the opportunity to connect with interesting companies, meet guests and reunite with longstanding partners.
On the opening day of the exhibition, PET Technologies had the honor of hosting Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Latvia, Anatoliy Kutsevol. Ambassador Kutsevol took the time to visit each company at the Ukrainian stand, where he expressed his admiration for PET Technologies’ products. The ambassador’s visit highlighted the significance of Ukrainian innovation in the international market and showed solidarity of Ukrainians around the World.
The second day of the exhibition brought even more guests to PET Technologies’ stand. Vice Mayor of Riga, Edvards Ratnieks, engaged in discussions with the PET Technologies team about Latvia’s potential to support Ukrainian businesses. Following this, Chairman of the Board of the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Janis Endzins, pledged his commitment to fostering trade relations between the two nations. It was pleasant to know that the high-ranking officials are so eager to cooperate with the Ukrainian companies.
Our existing customers from Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania also visited the booth. It showed that the bonds between PET Technologies and our clients are strong and long-lasting. Fostering friendly relations with Baltic countries and building strong new business connections were some of our primary goals at this exhibition, and we succeeded at both.
The undisputed highlight of the exhibition was the visit by the President of Latvia, Edgars Rinkēvičs, to our stand. The President was surprised that Ukraine has such manufacturing facility for production of blow molding machines and molds and appreciated it highl! He was presented with a symbolic gift showcasing the scenic views of PET Technologies’ hometown. He was really happy to receive such gift and proudly displayed it in his presidential palace for all to admire.
Both guests and clients were curious about our products and had the opportunity to engage in discussions with our managers during the event. They were genuinely impressed by the craftsmanship evident in each mold, one of which they had the opportunity to see and touch, and the remarkable technological solutions and precision of PET Technologies’ machines.
In conclusion, PET Technologies’ participation in RigaFood 2023 was a major success, marked by meaningful connections, reaffirmed partnerships, and the warm embrace of the international community. We look forward to building on these relationships and expanding our reach throughout the Baltic States and beyond!
