World of Packaging to provide an overview of PET Technologies recent installation
Cherkasy Brewery to choose PET Technologies equipment is the title of the article published in the World of Packaging magazine. It is about a universal APF-Max 8 PET stretch blow molder installed by the leading manufacturer of beer and beverages in Ukraine with the roots back in 1910.
The article is divided into 4 main parts:
- The project origins;
- PET bottles manufacturing;
- Technical features of APF-Max 8 blow molder;
- Fruitful cooperation between the companies.
What makes the project unique? First of all, the challenging task to add decorative elements while reducing the bottle weight, to increase the PET bottle resistance to the internal pressure and to reach the uniform material distribution along the narrow neck.
The result exceeded the expectation! The new bottles are by 15-20% more resistant to the internal pressure while the weight is up to 5 g less. NIR heating system of APF-Max 8 SBM machine permitted to reach the perfect material distribution along the walls despite de design complexity.
This successfully implemented project is another step in cooperation between Cherkasy Brewery and PET Technologies started 10 years ago!
