PET Technologies has successfully launched a new сomplete filling line at the “Yagotynske for Children” dairy plant.

This project deserves special attention, as upgrading a facility that produces dairy products for children is a delicate and highly responsible task. It requires the highest standards of hygiene, operational stability, and equipment quality. This alone speaks volumes about the level of technology we offer our clients.
PET Technologies has a long-standing history of supporting and upgrading dairy plants worldwide. Dozens of our machines across various generations are currently operating in dairy production facilities, manufacturing PET bottles from traditional white preforms.

The “Yagotynske for Children” plant, part of the “Milk Alliance” group, was launched in 2012. It is a modern production site with strict quality control, specifically designed for the youngest consumers. Considering the wide range of products—milk, milkshakes, yogurts, kefir, and more—the need for reliable and high-performance equipment is evident.
Recently, the manufacturer decided to modernize its production process. Previously, products were packaged in glass bottles. However, as seen globally, there is a growing trend toward replacing glass with PET in packaging—and the dairy industry is no exception. Unlike glass, plastic is less prone to breakage, which is especially important for young children who might accidentally drop the bottle. Additionally, plastic packaging is significantly lighter, making it easier for kids to hold.

The shift from glass to PET is more than just a packaging change; it’s a full-scale transformation of the entire production line. Manufacturers understand how complex such a process can be and how crucial it is to work with trusted equipment suppliers. That’s why we joined forces with the Bulgarian company Index-6, specialists in filling line solutions, to deliver a fully integrated system. A similar solution could work for your facility as well.
At the heart of this transformation is PET Technologies’ linear blow molding machine, the APF-Max 4L. This machine produces bottles of up to 3 liters at a capacity of 7,000 bottles per hour.

Today, the full line operates at 6,000 bottles per hour across various bottle volumes—an impressive output for children’s dairy nutrition. Thanks to this modernization, the manufacturer not only meets strict sanitary standards but also significantly reduces costs compared to glass packaging while boosting production efficiency.

Three newly designed PET bottle formats now house milkshakes, yogurts, and other dairy products under the “Yagotynske for Children” brand. A key element of this transformation was the bottle design, developed by PET Technologies for all three formats, ensuring both visual appeal and optimal functionality.
Each bottle made on PET Technologies’ equipment reflects the high quality that consumers can see and feel as they enjoy the product with their families. The blow molds, also designed by PET Technologies, ensure maximum output from each cavity of the APF-Max 4L blow molder. Thanks to this upgrade, “Yagotynske for Children” continues to expand its product range and strengthen its position in the market.
