The main advantage of the hot fill is products bottling with no preservatives added, which is very important for people leading healthy life style. Sensitive products, bottled at high temperature, sterilize the bottle and the cap themselves, and no additional sterilization is needed. Mold heating is implemented for PET material residual stress relief during blow molding. Half-molds heating by thermoregulator is used for hot oil circulation over molds channels. Special cooling system in movable parts of half-molds closing mechanism allows to protect high-precision mechanisms from excessive heating.
A unique hot fill PET bottle design with special “compensation windows” is developed for thermal volume change compensation of the bottled product and prevents deformation during filling and cooling processes.
