Not long ago PET Technologies has extended the 4th generation of PET stretch blow molders APF-Max with new models. Now the output varies between 3000 and 14 000 bph, while the bottle volume is between 0.1 and 6 L. The product range includes 6 basic models and 5 extra.
Definitely, its flexibility attracts industry. Several editions focused on plastics have covered the topic. What do they highlight?
Plastics Machinery & Manufacturing has published an article “PET Technologies expands blow molding machine line”. Bruce Geiselman, the author, says: “The machines also are more versatile. For example, an APF-Max four-cavity machine can make bottles as small as 100 milliliters, but it can be converted to a two-cavity machine capable of manufacturing 6-liter bottles.”
All these machines have option to produce Hot Fill bottles. Only 15 minutes are enough to change a mold and start to produce another type of container. Just imagine how much time PET bottle converters can save!
Packaging world has published an article “Stretch Blow Molding Machine Line Increases Product Range”. The material explains the notions of user-friendly concept and innovative design, flexibility and all-electric configuration in terms of the 4th generation of SBM machines APF-Max developed by PET Technologies.
The author says: “108 mandrels in the heater of 8-cavity blow molder you can change in just 4 minutes”. Short wave near infrared heating system (NIR) makes preform heating more efficient, consuming less energy.
As we know, competitiveness demands flexibility. The 4th generation of blow molders APF-Max meets this demand and opens you new opportunities in PET bottles manufacturing!
