PET Technologies recent project with Resilux has been highlighted in the latest issue of PETplanet Insider, one of the most well-established international B2B media platforms covering the PET packaging industry.

PET Technologies and PETplanet Insider have a long history of cooperation, with numerous articles published about our projects, technologies, and participation in industry surveys. In the May 2026 issue, PET Technologies was once again featured with a new project story dedicated to the installation of a UPF-5M laboratory blow molding machine at Resilux’s site in Switzerland.

The previous article about a PET Technologies project was published in the March 2026 issue of PETplanet Insider and focused on another successful cooperation case: https://pet-eu.com/publications/petplanet-insider-highlights-a-new-project-from-pet-technologies/

The new article presents PET Technologies recent project with Resilux, a major international producer of PET preforms and bottles. Resilux operates many production sites across the world and produces several billion PET preforms annually. For a company of this scale, laboratory testing plays an important role in ensuring stable preform quality before full-scale production.

Resilux was looking for a compact laboratory blow molding solution for its Swiss facility to produce test bottles under controlled conditions and validate preform batches before full-scale production.

PET Technologies supplied the UPF-5M laboratory blow molding machine, designed for small-scale and pilot production. It supports bottles up to 6 L, neck finishes up to 110 mm, single- and two-cavity molds, and limited trial runs with existing rotary mould tooling, with an output of up to 800 bottles per hour.

For Resilux, the machine was adapted with additional safety features, including light curtains and a protective screen for the blowing area. Today, the UPF-5M is part of Resilux’s laboratory routine, helping the team detect variations in material behavior or geometry before they create risks in industrial production.

The article also reflects the growing interest in laboratory-scale blow molding equipment among major preform producers. As more companies look for reliable ways to test preforms and bottles before industrial production, the UPF-5M is becoming an increasingly relevant solution for quality control, R&D, and pilot production.
